Passionate and versatile musical theatre performer with experience across a range of dance styles, confident soprano vocals and a strong music foundation in classical piano. With a genuine love for the magic of musical theatre, a life filled with thrilling performances has prepared me for this incredible opportunity! I am dedicated to pursuing a new chapter in my career and am confident that my expertise combined with my determination have equipped me to deliver a performance of a lifetime! Growing up Filipino, karaoke was more than just an occasional leisurely activity. No, karaoke was (and is) our Olympic sport. From the moment I could speak, I picked up a microphone and never put it down. My life has always revolved around a love of music, starting piano when I was just 4 years old and putting on my first pair of ballet shoes at 6. Each performance on stage filled me with an immeasurable amount of pure love and joy. Singing & dancing is who I am, nothing makes me feel more at home than the bright stage lights, breaking a sweat in a dance class or singing with loved ones. I’ve spent most of my adult life chasing musicals across the world - here in Sydney, on Broadway in New York City and even The West End in London! A defining moment in my life was seeing Matilda The Musical in London, the presence of every performer was captivating and it truly inspired me to pursue my deep love of performing. I have experience in performing principal roles in local musicals and have even produced and directed a school musical for my students. Although I am yet to make my professional musical theatre debut, I am confident that my dance, singing & musical expertise combined with my deep passion will make me an asset to this incredible production. It would be the honour of a lifetime to make my professional musical theatre debut in Matilda The Musical! As a petite & youthfully faced adult, I would love to audition for the adult child/child swing roles. My students often tease that I look no older than the other primary aged students, so this would be the perfect opportunity to make the most of my youthful appearance! I would also love to audition for the ensemble, I would be honoured to play any role in this magical production!
