About
Wistfulness prevails in memoirs and melodies, and this holds true for Melbourne based Pop/Soul artist and actor, Amber Sindoni (alias Ambraya). With powerhouse vocals reminiscent of Tori Kelly and Sara Bareilles, Amber masterfully blends theatrical storytelling with modernised soul, reconnecting audiences with music’s most essential purpose: shared experience. With a Bachelor of Music (2023) under her belt, (Minor in Stage & Theatre) at Monash University, Amber brings a commanding presence to both stage and studio. Her dual passion for music and theatre has propelled her across Australia’s most iconic venues from the Corner Hotel to Chapel Off Chapel, Crown Palladium, and Paris Cat Jazz Club; delivering genre defying performances rooted in authenticity and emotional depth. Amber’s theatrical accolades are numerous. She sold out her self-devised show Embers of Gold (2022), was cast in Dogfight (Dir. Pip Mushin, Chippy/Rose. 2023), . Her original music theatre works were selected for Eddie Perfect’s Pitch to Perfect (2021) and she’s featured in Broadway Unplugged (The Toff in Town, 2022/2023) and Breaking Sound (The Night Cat, 2024). She additionally worked and trained alongside Jack Earle, Nadia Tornese & Jason Parker as part of Starbound Musical Theatre 19/20 (2023,2024) Other credits include Futuration (Palms Crown) The Soul Songbook (Paris Cat), Southern Beat Entertainment’s Moulin Rouge Spectacular (2022) and The Greatest Showman (Crown Palladium, 2025). In 2026 she will be making her Australian Fringe Festival Debut with Not Soooo Fresh, a new Australian musical. In September 2025, Amber unveiled her most explosive work yet: Nightfall City (2025), a theatrical pop ballad that fuses cinematic drama with soul stirring vocals. The single coincides with her headline performance at the Homegrown Festival at The Corner (2025) , solidifying her as one of Melbourne’s most versatile emerging artists. Amber's musical journey took off in 2019 when she won Best Soloist at the Australian A Cappella Awards. She sold out her debut show Constellations in 2021 and has since appeared on SBS Viceland’s Coming Together Christmas. In 2023, she released her debut single Happy Place alongside her children’s book Safe, Happy & Healthy (2023). Most recently, she captured national attention on The Voice Australia Season 13 (Channel 7 & 7Plus, 2024), where she advanced to the top 7 with Team LeAnn Rimes. Heartfelt, intimate and earnest, Amber preludes the start of a new chapter for the artist and audience alike.
