Amélie Matthews

At just 15 years old, Amélie Matthews was selected as a Top 50 contestant on Australian Idol (Channel 7), one of Australia's leading televised singing competitions, and has since built a diverse body of work across musical theatre, live entertainment and television. A versatile singer, actor and musician, Amélie combines powerful contemporary vocals with honest storytelling and a compelling stage presence. Her professional credits include Éponine Understudy in Les Misérables with Packemin Productions, The Voices – A Musical Tribute with Neil Gooding Productions (2023), Professional Live Entertainment Performer (2024–2026), and Featured Performer at the Australian Club Entertainment (ACE) Awards Gala (2026). Her theatre credits include Wednesday Addams in The Addams Family and Helena in A Midsummer Night's Dream. With training in classical, contemporary, jazz and musical theatre, she brings versatility, strong musicianship and emotional authenticity to every performance. Amélie's accolades include the 2026 Australian Club Entertainment Alan Skeed Rising Star Award, Burwood's Got Talent Championships Open Age Winner (2025), a Full Scholarship to Pymble Ladies' College, and the Pymble Ladies' College Music Excellence Honours Graduate Award.
