Amy Hancock

Growing up in regional New South Wales, I discovered my passion for theatre through community productions despite spending much of my childhood on my farm. These experiences instilled in me a deep appreciation for hard work, discipline, and the arts, and they continue to shape the performer I am today. Training with NIDA and YAS, among other establishments, I have enjoyed shaping myself into a versatile performer. For me, my stagecraft extends far beyond just stepping on-stage, I endeavour to tell stories that people will remember long after they've left the theatre. Every opportunity I have had has been earned through hard work, dedication, resilience, and a commitment to continuous growth. I am proud of my regional roots, bringing a strong sense of grit to my work, an ability to remain focused, adaptable, and determined through challenges which sets me apart from others and drives me to consistently deliver my best.
