Angus Downing

Please see CV. I am one of Melbourne's leading Scottish fiddle players, with over 30 years focusing on mainland Scottish as well as Shetland fiddle music. I have recorded, toured, played at the leading Australian folk and Celtic festivals, been president of the Melbourne Scottish Fiddle Club, which puts on regular ceilidh dances in Melbourne. While I'm usually on stage playing during these, I occasionally jump down onto the dance floor and enjoy having a dance too. I have had singing and acting lessons in my younger years. I wear glasses but also have contact lenses.
