I am a Japanese/Australian musical theatre performer and recent graduate of the American Musical and Dramatic Academy (AMDA) in New York, where I completed the Integrated Program in Musical Theatre, Acting, and Dance. My performance journey began in Japan, where I trained and performed in productions such as The Sound of Music across Tokyo and Osaka, before continuing my journey in Australia. While attending AMDA, I had the opportunity to perform in A Chorus Line at The National Theatre Melbourne as an Ensemble/Swing, covering Diana and Val. Being able to draw from my own experiences at AMDA helped me find a personal connection to these characters. During my time in New York, I also had the chance to perform in cabarets and events, including The Green Room 42, New York Parade and Steps On Broadway. I have also had the opportunity to be a part of a choir group produced by Bayook Lee, performing at various events and further developing my experience as an ensemble performer. One of the most meaningful aspects of my journey has been the opportunity to train and perform across three different countries and theatrical cultures. From Japan, I developed an appreciation for the precision and artistry of dance. In New York, I was challenged by high level acting and musical theatre training and in Melbourne, I gained valuable experience of the realities of working as a professional performer. These experiences have shaped me into a versatile and adaptable performer with a strong international perspective. I bring curiosity, dedication, and a genuine love for storytelling to every project, and I am excited to continue growing as an artist and contributing to Australia's musical theatre industry.

Training

My training began at Baika High School’s Performing Arts Course in Osaka, Japan, where I trained with professional Japanese theatre performers with backgrounds including Takarazuka Revue and Gekidan Shiki, as well as world hip hop champion Maika Ishikawa. Alongside this, I attended an afterschool Broadway theatre program, where I trained in Meisner technique, Belting technique and explored Bob Fosse’s style and movement. I also joined the Disney Theme Park School in Osaka, focusing on theme park dance styles, which helped me build a stronger technical foundation in dance. In 2023, I moved to New York to complete the Integrated Program at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy (AMDA), receiving intensive training in Musical Theatre, Acting, Voice, and Dance. During my time at AMDA, I trained with Casey Colgan, Beatrice Howell, Corey Masklee, Jody Reynard and received further Musical Theatre training from John Zindarsic. I continued my dance and performance training at Steps on Broadway and Broadway Dance Center, studying with Broadway performers and choreographers including Rachel Leigh Dolan, Akina Kitazawa, and Sarah Shaw. Training across Japan and the United States has given me a broad foundation in acting, singing, dance, and musical theatre, while allowing me to experience and combine different approaches to performance.
