Astrid Cahill

I am an emerging artist who has just completed full-time training at Sydney Dance Company's Pre-Professional Year. I have trained in multiple dance genres throughout my life, and while my passion lies in contemporary dance, I have always wanted to perform in musicals and be sharing a story with the audience. Musicals give me such passion and life when hearing or seeing them, and it makes me believe that I will be a passionate and driven performer/cast member. My contemporary training as also made me a more unique dancer as it has widened my concept of what is and isn't dancing, allowing me to perform with my whole body and soul, not separating myself as a dancer and as a person.
