Azzy Messerschmidt

Hi! I'm Azzy, an early career actor from Brisbane. I have always loved theatre, not just being the centre of attention on stage. I am also a writer and a director, and I'm not yet confident in my technical skills to call myself a stagehand just yet, but I'm getting there! My main prerogative for making new work is making sure there is present queer representation for other young people who may feel their difference makes them "unhireable". I bring a lot of passion to everything I do for that reason, to show people like me that we do have a place in the industry. Outside of theatre, I love to read, scrapbook, and go to the gym.
