Billy Murphy is from the small country town of Inverloch in Gippsland. He gained an interest in acting at of 3 and and after that joined his local theatre groups to perform and build on his love for the craft. He completed his formal training at Federation University's Arts Academy from 2024 to 2026, studying a Bachelor of Performing Arts. During this time Billy has performed in the productions of Mother Courage and Her Children (Chaplain), The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (William Barfee), and Carrie The Musical (Billy Nolan).
