Cathy Woodhouse

Cathy graduated in 2001 from the Ballarat Academy of Performing Arts (now Federation University) with a Bachelor of Music Theatre. She spent a decade based in Perth, with some of her favourite theatre credits including Donna in ‘Mamma Mia!’ (Koorliny Arts Centre), Ursula in ‘The Little Mermaid’ (HAMA Productions), Jemilla in ‘Firebringer’ (Melville Theatre Company) and Mrs Thistletwat in ‘Avenue Q’ (Arise Productions). Upon returning to her hometown of Melbourne in 2023, Cathy joined the all-female cast of Sondheim’s ‘A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum’ (Watch This), playing the role of the dirty-old-man, Senex, before joining the national tour of ‘Menopause the Musical’ (SK Productions) as a Swing in 2024. Earlier this year she slipped back into her tentacles, returning to Perth to reprise the role of Ursula in HAMA's 2026 production of The Little Mermaid.
