About
Charli is a Sydney-based musical theatre performer whose dynamic vocals, comedic instinct, and contemporary edge have established her as a versatile and exciting emerging artist within Australia’s performing arts industry. Her training includes a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre from AMDA College and Conservatory of the Performing Arts in Los Angeles, dance training at The McDonald College, and ongoing coaching with Erin Clare. Charli is currently working on FLÄTPÄCK: A New Musical, developing the role of Phoebe and has recently returned from a NSW tour of 'Something Special' with Perform! Education. Recent Australian credits include Elle Woods in Legally Blonde and Diana (Alternate) in Next to Normal with Sydney Musical Theatre. During her time in the United States, Charli performed across AMDA’s mainstage productions, including Nadine in The Wild Party, Pickles in The Great American Trailer Park Musical, and Mary Patrick in Sister Act. She also performed as Olive in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee with Blackout Theatre Company, with screen credits including Matinee and My Dead Frenemy. Now based in Sydney, Charli is continuing to build her presence within the Australian performing arts landscape, with a particular passion for new work, independent musical theatre, complex female characters, and comedy. She brings an authentic queer voice, warmth, humour, and nuanced vocal versatility to every project she takes on.
