Chelsea Bonanno

I am an Australian soprano and graduate of the Australian Institute of Music (Bachelor of Music – Music Theatre), with extensive training in both classical and contemporary technique. Theatre credits include Mabel in The Pirates of Penzance (CAT Award nomination), Jenny Lind in Barnum (TAG Award winner), and Cosette (Understudy) in Les Misérables with FreeRain Theatre Company. I have also performed as an opera soloist at events surrounding Andrea Bocelli’s 2022 concert. I am particularly suited to principal soprano and ingénue roles in large-scale commercial productions. Alongside strong vocal stamina and technical precision, I bring professionalism, preparation and collaborative focus to every rehearsal room. What sets me apart is the fusion of operatic control, contemporary versatility and emotionally grounded storytelling. I am a dedicated and enthusiastic team player who approaches every project with energy, discipline and genuine love for the work.
