About

Christine Ibrahim is an Australian-based singer, aerialist, songwriter, pianist, and multidisciplinary performer who signature act combines opera and aerial silks. She holds a Bachelor of Music in Contemporary Vocal Performance and AMEB classical voice honours. Her award-winning, boundary-pushing show Wonderfully Terrible Things was the resident show for New Theatricals at 5 Eliza for the life of the venue, blending music, comedy, circus, and social commentary. Christine spent three years as a principal artist at Dracula’s Cabaret Restaurant (Gold Coast and Melbourne), and the past decade performing as an international feature act combining live vocals and aerial acrobatics. She was a finalist on Tu Si Que Vales, singing Habanera with Highwire Entertainments show Rouge. As the founder and driving force behind Cirque Songstress Productions, she now writes, produces, and performs original cabaret and circus-opera works. Her repertoire spans classical opera, French chanson (Piaf, Aznavour, Indila), musical theatre, and original compositions, delivered with equal command on stage as a vocalist, pianist, aerialist, and MC/host. Skilled across aerial silks, lyra, and cabaret performance, she is an experienced performer who is looking to return to her first love, musical theatre.
