Claudia Hurley

Claudia Hurley is an emerging artist based on Gadigal land, with a strong focus on intentional, multidisciplinary work within contemporary and choreographic practices. Trained across all styles Claudia places artistic focus on expression and storytelling. She is currently undertaking a contracted development with Shaun Parker & Company, working closely with Beau Dean Riley Smith. Most recently, she performed at the 2026 season the OUTSET Choreography Awards presented by Duti Studios in collaboration with Carriageworks, dancing in Luka Rayment's work of Out Of Bounds, produced by Lucy Guerin Inc in partnership with Dance House Melbourne, dancing in Luka Rayment’s work, Milklab. At the beginning of 2026, Claudia performed at Machine Hall in the Twisted Element Company performance, Aura Mechanica. She assisted in the remount and performance of Tegan Jeffrey Rushton’s Overture at the Adelaide Fringe Festival in 2025, following her role as both dancer and assistant for the work at the IDEA Now 2025 Festival. In 2024, Claudia performed in Overture and featured in the Sydney Fringe Festival with Danza Del Arte in a work by Paulina Quinteros. She also joined Twisted Element Company for Ritual, an immersive performance led by Angela Hamilton. She completed her Diploma in Dance Training at Ev & Bow under the mentorship of Sarah Boulter, Lisa Bowmer and mentors like Samantha Hines and Holly Doyle. Passionate about collaborative creation, Claudia regularly engages in choreographic work with peers, the Department of Education, and Ev & Bow Youth Company students.
