Daisy Cousens

Daisy has been performing from a young age, and studied Musical Theatre at the Australian Institute of Music. She was Standby for Mrs White/Yvette/Cook in the 2026 national tour of Cluedo for Crossroads Live. She will also play the role of Elvira in New Theatre's November-December 2026 production of Noel Coward's Blithe Spirit. Daisy has appeared as Bellomy in The Fantasticks with Exclaim Theatre Company, Ensemble/Understudy Beggar Woman in Sweeney Todd at the New Theatre, Ensemble in Summer Rain at the New Theatre, and has an extensive background in cabaret and Victorian music hall. She has performed in concert at The Joan in Penrith, as well as singing in the NSW Premier’s Christmas Concerts tour in 2017. Daisy has spent the last eight years working in television news media, and was a regular contributor and guest host on Sky News Australia from 2017-2023, and hosted her own show on ADH TV from 2023-2024. Other TV appearances include the ABC’s QandA and Hack Live, and Channel 10’s The Project. She has also had a career in online media.
