Elijah Moore

Elijah Moore is a Christchurch-based musical theatre performer and recent graduate of the National Academy of Singing and Dramatic Art (NASDA), with a strong foundation in singing, acting, and dance. A baritenor, he is particularly drawn to roles that sit between traditional vocal types and enjoys exploring the versatility and storytelling range this offers. His recent performance experience includes playing Paul in Kiss Me, Kate and Jerry in Showbiz Christchurch’s 2026 production of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. He has also worked across cabaret and ensemble-based projects, bringing a high level of musicianship as a trained pianist, which supports both his rehearsal process and collaboration within a company. Elijah’s work is rooted in musical sensitivity and character-driven performance. He is deeply interested in the connection between voice, text, and physicality, and strives to bring specificity, honesty, and energy to every role. As a Māori performer, he is passionate about representation and storytelling that reflects diverse perspectives. He is a committed and adaptable performer who thrives in ensemble environments and consistently seeks opportunities to grow, respond to direction, and contribute positively to the rehearsal room.
