About

Ella Roper is a Sydney-based dancer and actress who has been performing since she was three years old. Ella is a professional dancer specialising in classical ballet and contemporary. She completed full-time ballet training at Tanya Pearson Academy before graduating from the English National Ballet School in London in July 2023. She has performed professionally with both English National Ballet and The Australian Ballet, and recently toured Australia in Paulina Quinteros' 'Water Mirror' through Arts on Tour, a production combining contemporary dance, acrobatics and Taiko percussion. Alongside dance, Ella is an actor passionate about developing her work across stage and screen. She completed the Screen Actors Studio at NIDA and continues to train regularly. She has also studied singing with vocal coaches Olivia and Cheryl Oxley for over two years. Ella also works as a choreographer and dance teacher at several schools across Sydney. She is currently completing her Certificate in Dance Teaching (Ballet) qualification with the Royal Academy of Dance, due for completion in October 2026. Ella enjoys working across different disciplines and bringing together her experience in dance, acting, singing and music as she continues to grow as a performer.
