Elyssa Jeffreys

Elyssa Jeffreys (She/Her) is a young, freelance artist who is new to the Australian musical theatre industry. She is a Sydney-based artist known for her commanding mix-belt and strong stage presence. Elyssa is completing her Diploma of Musical Theatre at Brent Street in Sydney (2025-2026), training under the guidance of the esteemed, Ellen Simpson. Elyssa has also completed her Certificate IV in Dance Teaching and Management and has a passion for teaching dance to her younger students. During her time studying with Brent Street, Elyssa has been fortunate enough to play the roles of Vivienne Kensington and Kate in Legally Blonde (dir. Drew Weston) and Velma Kelly in Chicago (dir. Ellen Simpson). In 2026, she also had the opportunity to perform as the Lead Vocalist for the Cruise Line Industry Awards (CLIA) representing Brent Street alongside professional singer, Jacinta Gulisano (dir. Michelle Barr) and was chosen to perform at 'Upfront 2027' for the Seven Media Group (Channel 7) alongside 2026 'The Voice' winner, Yung Milla. While Elyssa aims to have a diverse career as a musical theatre performer, she also dreams to someday venture into the film and TV industry and would love to travel to other countries for work.
