Emma Kelly

Emma Kelly (she/her) is a queer, Italian Irish performer hailing from rural North-West Victoria. While Emma has emerged into a largely city-based career, she remains a passionate representative of her roots in regional arts and her acting credits span the breadth of Victoria. A former committee member of Bendigo Theatre Company and associate of the Fairfax Youth Initiative, Emma has worked to bring meaningful performance and theatre opportunities to rural youth and regional audiences. Emma made her screen debut in War of the Worlds (Arena Theatre Company), and her most notable theatre credits include Margaret White in Carrie: The Musical (JMC Academy), Miss Adelaide in Guys and Dolls (Bendigo Theatre Company), Jim Hawkins in Treasure Island: The Pantomime (Bendigo Theatre Company), and Io in Prometheus Bound (Synchronicity). She was also a featured soloist for the album launch of The Forgotten Songbook (McBurney and Hurley), a new Australian musical. Emma is a graduating student of JMC Academy’s Bachelor of Creative Arts (Music Theatre).
