About

My name is Emma, I’m 26 years old and proudly from Adelaide, South Australia. I’ve been singing for as long as I can remember. From the age of four, music has felt like home to me. What first drew me in wasn’t just the melody, but the power of storytelling through song. I fell in love with the way a voice can carry emotion, truth, and vulnerability in a way that words alone sometimes cannot. Growing up, I was constantly immersed in musicals , from Annie to Beauty and the Beast to Hairspray. I was captivated by the magic of stepping into different worlds and telling stories bigger than myself. I didn’t just want to sing the songs . I wanted to live inside them. Many life hurdles have unaligned my path with music, and I feel ready NOW, to learn and experience more of the Musical Theatre WORLD. One moment that shaped me happened when I was seven years old, singing “Maybe” from Annie. During the performance, I noticed a woman in the front row in tears. I remember thinking, “I either sound like a dying cat, or maybe I truly connected with her?” Afterward, she told me she had never felt more moved by a voice. That was the first time I understood the responsibility and privilege of being a storyteller. If my voice could reach one stranger’s heart, how many more could it reach? What makes me unique is not just my love of singing, but my deep desire to connect. I approach performance with empathy and curiosity. I don’t see a song as notes to be sung ; I see it as a lived experience to be shared. I am drawn to the emotional truth of a piece and to finding the humanity within a character. I believe audiences respond not just to vocal ability, but to authenticity. For me, music is a universal language. It bridges differences and allows us to feel seen. I am ready to take the next step , to move beyond singing as myself and fully embody characters, to tell stories from perspectives other than my own, and to give everything I have to the stage. There is no greater feeling than creating a moment where an audience member feels understood. The stage is where I feel most alive , and I am ready to bring heart, commitment, and truth to every performance.
