Erica Jones

Erica Jones is a qualified performer with over ten years of formal training in singing, acting, and music theory, and five years of dancing. Erica holds a Bachelor of Musical Theatre from Elder Conservatorium at the University of Adelaide, a Diploma of Musical Theatre from the National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA), and a Diploma of Music Industry (Contemporary Voice) from the West Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA). Since 2022, Erica has performed in a variety of shows both inside and outside of her tertiary training, including How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying (dir. Erin James), Into the Woods (dir. Miranda Middleton), Crush: The Musical (dir. Sarah Williams), Home Grown Things (dir. Ben Nicholson & Nick Hedger), Candide (dir. Mitchell Butel), and Vocal Strain (dir. Joshua Holdyk). She played the titular role in Alice By Heart (dir. Erin James) and was also cast in the music video for Jawbreakers’ single Cheats and Liars (dir. Ryan Whitworth-Jones). Having grown up as the only musically-inclined person in her tiny rural WA town, Erica has a passion for making the performing arts more accessible to young people in rural areas.
