About

Ethan Larkins (he/him) is a queer actor and theatre-maker based in Naarm/Melbourne, currently undertaking formal actor training at JMC Academy. His roles to date have included Agamemnon in Polemós, a heartbreaking Renfield in Dracula: A Feminist Revenge Fantasy and a sold-out season as crowd favourite Bottom in A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Alongside his studies, Ethan featured in the ensemble of Cyrano de Bergerac (Artefacte Theatre/fortyfivedownstairs) in 2026 and is currently developing Cabaret Bluebeard, a devised work with Creep Ensemble for Melbourne Fringe. An origin story starting with following mum around Australia on tour amongst other gigs enabled him in gathering stories, thoughts and ideas, eventually leading to his own participation in theatre in Bendigo/Djaara country. Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (ensemble), a beautifully held role of Nick in the retro Two and Two Make Sex and a feature spot as Ben Gunn in Treasure Island: A Pantomime with Bendigo Theatre Company led to a role as a Wyrd Sister in Offbeat Theatre’s Macbeth – Murder on the Dancefloor, a 1990s drag-club reworking of Shakespeare presented as part of Bendigo Pride Festival and then multiple roles in Mildly Monstrous Productions’ The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes at Langley Estate Bendigo.
