About

Growing up in rural Wangaratta, Fergus has always gravitated towards the arts, developing a taste for acting both on stage and screen. He has involved himself with community and school musicals whilst studying VCE Theatre Studies and VCE Drama at Galen Catholic College. Fergus has gone onto perform at a state level with the Victorian Curriculum Assessment Authority’s Season of Excellence, both for his Theatre Studies monologue, ‘A Ballad Singer’ in 2022, as well as his self-devised Drama Solo, ‘The Emcee’, the latter of which Fergus performed at Top Acts in 2023. Fergus is now a graduate of Music Theatre and Acting at the Ballarat Arts Academy, wherein he has developed his skills throughout various classes and performances, including an in class showing of Micheal Gow’s Away with Direction by Danielle Carter, as well as principle roles in The Beau Defeated, Directed by Kellie Tori, and Little Women: The Broadway Musical, directed by Melanie Beddie, with Geoff Castles’ musical direction. Now based in Melbourne, Fergus is continuing his training, as he values the notion of constant improvement, doing this through light opera training as well as furthering his dance training in 2026 at Transit Dance, where he will be undergoing a Diploma of Pre Professional Performing Arts.
