Francesco Bertoni

I have always had an artistic influence since I was a child. I started taking singing classes when I was 13 years old. I suddenly fell in love with this art and I joined “A.Li.Ve” (Accademia Lirica di Verona) for about 7 years. During my time at the academy I studied choir singing and solo singing; for about 4 years I studied acting and drumming; and about 1 year opera singing. During these 7 years I participated at hundreds of shows and concerts on the most prestigious stages in Italy such as the Arena di Verona, Sala Paolo Nervi in Vatican City and performing in front of many important people such as the Pope Benedict 16th, the former president of the Italian Republic Giorgio Napolitano. I have been directed by many important international theater directors and musical directors such as Franco Zeffirelli, Hugo de Ana, Gianfranco de Bosio, Romeo Castellucci, Placido Domingo and Daniel Oren. In 2013 I started my professional education as a musical theater performer at the BSMT (Bernstein School of Musical Theater) based in Bologna, Italy. Here I had the chance to improve my singing and acting technique. I studied different singing techniques such as broadway/musical, legit/opera, classic, pop, a cappella and EVT. I improved my acting skills by studying improvisation, Stanislavski method, Method Acting technique, Meisner technique and Chekhov technique. I also started taking dance classes in different styles such as ballet, modern, broadway style, jazz and tap. After I graduated from the BSMT in 2016 I started my journey as a professional musical theater performer with the theater company “Inscena”. I worked with this company for 2 years touring around Italy with different shows (musicals and operetta shows) and performing different roles. We performed in most of the important theaters in Italy. In 2018 I moved to Paris and started working in Disneyland Paris as a parade and character performer. I had the chance to play many different Disney characters and to dance on the Disney parades. I also performed in the “Wild West Show” as a Disney character. During this 4 years at Disneyland I had the chance to perform for thousands of people, do character meet and greets in many different languages and work for a international and professional company like Disney. I always have been interested in sports. I played soccer for 5 years, for about 4 years I practiced waterpolo and since 2016 I have trained regularly at the gym. A few years ago I began to train in Calisthenics and free-body workout something that to this day that I’m very passionate about. Other hobbies that I have and enjoy spending my free time doing include taking pictures on a film camera. I am a cook enthusiast and love eating differnt types of food and experiencing new food cultures from all around the world. Reading books and following youtube channels is something that I enjoy to do and I am a big movie connoisseur.
