About

I am an aspiring epileptic young artist currently studying a Bachelor of Musical Theatre at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. I have worked on and interned at a not-for-profit Gen Z performing arts program; Gen.Z.Arts.Alive, and I am currently writing and creating my own cabaret-style performance. I trained in all dance styles at Brent Street for 9 years, and have worked with some of the most incredible Australian voices such as Margi Di Ferranti, Peter Bodnar, Erin Clare and Beth Daly. I trained classically from a very young age, performing as a member of the children's chorus for several Opera Australia operas. I have recently completed the TheatreBridge Musical Theatre Program, and I was in a band for four years, performing as the drummer and lead singer, as well as working as an ASM on university productions. I want to use the performing arts space to generate a 'No Judgement Zone' where everyone feels comfortable and safe to leave their reality and live vicariously through the performers onstage. I like to describe myself as an extreme empath, meaning I have an abnormally large capacity to feel emotion and for others in seemingly mundane situations, and previously I thought this was a weakness; feeling too much, or reading into every situation, but I have come to realise this to be a great strength in my ability to understand other people and different characters, grounding each person I play in true humanity.
