Hannah Simos-Garner

Hannah is a Melbourne-based, full lyric soprano with a dual focus in classical voice and music theatre, combining strong vocal technique with substantial experience in acting, dance and character performance. Currently completing a Bachelor of Music Performance (Classical Voice) & Diploma of Languages (French) at the Melbourne Conservatorium, University of Melbourne. Hannah is also a Leading Voice Teacher at Young Australian Broadway Chorus and a Music Director with MDMS. Hannah's performance experience spans principal music theatre and theatre roles, opera and classical concert performance. Recent highlights include Mary Poppins in Mary Poppins with MDMS, Christine understudy in The Phantom of the Opera and performing Christine for the Karralyka Theatre Season Opening. Other significant music theatre roles include Miss Honey (Matilda), Belle (Beauty and the Beast), Jemima (Cats) and Mary Lennox (The Secret Garden). Theatre roles include Jo March (Little Women), Jane Eyre (Jane Eyre) and Lil (Kindertransport). Classical and operatic experience includes extensive performance with Victorian Opera's VOYCE, including Dido and Aeneas, Orpheus in the Underworld, Iolanthe, OperaBox and showcase concerts, alongside Melbourne Conservatorium vocal and choral ensembles. Current voice training with Margaret Trubiano and Victoria Lambourn. In 2026, Hannah was selected as one of twenty performers worldwide for the Neil Semer Vocal Institute Summer Performance Intensive in Music Theatre & Opera, Italy, and was one of two classical vocalists selected for VCAA Season of Excellence – Top Class Music.
