Hayden McElholum

Hayden is a Melbourne based performer currently completing a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Musical Theatre) at the Victorian College of the Arts. Hayden is also a graduate from Kelly Aykers Full Time Dance completing a Diploma of Musical Theatre in 2022’. In his final year at VCA Hayden played the role of Leo/Dance Captain in ‘A Little Touch of Chaos’ (dir. Roger Hodgman) and will be playing Lowell/Hair Stylist/Courtney in Legally Blonde (dir. Jason Langley). Some of Hayden’s other VCA credits include Wallace Hartley/ Isidor Straus in ‘Titanic’ (dir. Tyran Parke), ‘The Drowsy Chaperone’ (dir. Alister Smith), Featured Soloist in Morning Melodies series at Hammer Hall (dir. Jayde Kirtchet), and a Featured Soloist in the Australian Musical Theatre Festival (AMTF) (dir. Tyran Parke). This year Hayden has also been a part of the Australian Shakespeare Company’s production of ‘Tinkerbell and the Dream Fairies’ (dir. Glenn Elston) where he covered the role of Mustardseed and was a Swing for the Production.
