Indya Munroe

I am a Brisbane-based musical theatre performer currently completing my Diploma of Musical Theatre at Queensland College of Dance, where I am immersed in daily training across acting, singing and dance while working alongside industry professionals. Primarily a singer, I am passionate about developing my craft as a triple-threat performer, with storytelling and acting at the heart of my approach to musical theatre. My vocal style draws on contemporary pop and jazz influences, with a particular strength in strong, expressive belting. I also have a love for comedy and character work, with comedic timing and a natural ability to connect with people being some of my strengths as a performer. I am ambitious, strong-willed and dependable, and I bring curiosity, commitment and a genuine love of storytelling into every project I work on. I am particularly interested in musical theatre and straight plays, and am excited to continue growing as a performer while building my professional experience within the industry.
