Issy Coomber

Issy is a transmasc non-binary artist who specialises in cabaret, industrial tap dance, musical theatre and general silliness. Most recently, Issy has produced, written and performed their original cabaret ‘Issy Coomber: Assigned Puppet At Birth’ at the Adelaide Fringe Festival 2026, which toured to QTopia Sydney Pride Festival in June. Issy is currently studying his Bachelor of Musical Theatre at Elder Conservatorium of Music and has previously obtained a Diploma of Musical Theatre from Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA). Something that makes Issy stand out in the industry is his compassion. Issy makes others feel safe when they are sharing a space with him and he isn’t afraid of standing up for people when needed.
