About

Long Version: Jade Riordan is a 38-year-old Australian lyric soprano based in the picturesque Hunter Valley. Known for her expressive tone, vocal clarity, and elegant stage presence, Jade has been a proud member of The Ten Sopranos for the past ten years, performing across Australia and captivating audiences with her rich, emotive voice in shows such as Mamma Mia, Greek Legends, and Classical crossover. She studied classical voice through Trinity College London, earning her Licentiate of Music with Distinction, and holds a Bachelor of Music from the University of Western Sydney. In addition to her vocal achievements, Jade is also an accomplished pianist and spent ten years studying Irish dancing, which has contributed to her strong sense of rhythm and dynamic performance style. Jade is the owner and director of her own music school in the Lower Hunter, where she offers a comprehensive curriculum for both children and adults. The school provides private and group lessons in singing, piano, guitar, drums, and violin, as well as engaging early childhood music classes that nurture a love of music from a young age. Passionate about opera, classical crossover, and musical theatre, Jade continues to refine her craft under the mentorship of internationally renowned tenor Paul Tabone (The Phantom of the Opera, Love Never Dies) and is proudly represented by The Artists Lab. With a lifelong dedication to musical excellence, education, and storytelling, Jade is committed to inspiring audiences and students alike through the transformative power of music.
