Jayde Smith

Hi, I’m Jayde! Originally from Melbourne, I moved to Sydney to train full-time at Brent Street, where I completed two years of training and received my Advanced Diploma of Professional Dance. I built a strong technical foundation in classical contemporary under Jess Hesketh before expanding into Performing Arts under Ryan Sheppard, where I developed versatility across a wide range of styles, including jazz, commercial, musical theatre, contemporary, ballroom, hip hop, and acrobatics. This training allowed me to become an adaptable and well-rounded performer, and I was honoured to receive Dux of Performing Arts. During this time, I gained valuable industry experience, performing in Jessica Mauboy and Jason Derulo’s “Give You Love” music video, The Voice Australia Semi Finals, World Pride Mardi Gras “Live and Proud,” and the NRL Grand Final. Since graduating, I have been working with Royal Caribbean Entertainment, performing in both theatre productions and the cutting-edge “270” venues aboard Wonder of the Seas and Spectrum of the Seas. These opportunities have allowed me to grow, adapt, and further establish myself as a professional performer.
