Jordi Rea

I am a 28 year old performer who has just finished up touring the New Zealand Premier of & Juliet throughout Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch and am currently reheasing for a season of the play 'Teenage D!ck' and in October, beginning rehersals for 'Pirates of Penzance' as Frederick until February 2027. I grew up in a small town on the West Coast of the South Island here in New Zealand and stumbled across musical theatre very late in my schooling. Once I did however, I was hooked and knew I had to hang up my plans of becoming a building and pursue a career on the stage. I have had an array of opportunities since finishing my training ranging from professional main stage performances to childrens theatre touring and some television work. One of my goals in the future is to do stunt work for film and some of the steps I'm taking towards this currently are martial arts training (Muay Thai) and trampolining - both in the process of being valuable additions to my theatre work also.
