Josh McDonald

Born and raised in Adelaide, Josh is a multifaceted non-binary performer, recently graduated from the Elder Conservatorium of Music Theatre. Previous ECMT credits include Zeus/Danny cover in Xanadu (dir. Michael Ralph, 2026), Ensemble in & Juliet (dir. Matt Hyde, 2026) Featured Soloist in Elegies: A Song Cycle (dir. Joseph Simons, 2025), and Ensemble in Jesus Christ Superstar (dir. George Torbay, 2024). Other credits include Nikos in Legally Blonde (Pelican Productions, dir. Adam Goodburn, 2023) and Willard Hewitt in Footloose (KBGS, dir. Laura Nitschke, 2023). Josh is currently developing their original cabaret Holy Dichotomy: The Gayest Choirboy for the 2027 Adelaide Fringe Festival. They are an aspiring drag artist performing under the name “The Final Girl”.
