Josie Armstrong

My name is Josie Armstrong, I am a 19yr old performer currently based in Sydney but grew up in the coastal town of Coffs Harbour! My musical theatre training began at Woolgoolga Performing Arts Studio, where I trained from 2018–2025 and performed in productions including The Wizard of Oz, Frozen Jr and Once on This Island Jr. I also performed as Cady in Mean Girls Jr at the Junior Theatre Festival in Atlanta, USA. This year I have been completing my Diploma in musical theatre at the National Institute of Dramatic Art. I have been training in singing, acting and dancing with tutors such as Brittanie Shipway, Kelly Abbey, David Gardos and Darren Yap. I have learnt so much about myself and performing but I am ready to learn more! To just have a really good time telling stories because it truly is the most magical thing.
