About
Kade Hughes is a Melbourne-based musical theatre performer with over 15 years of professional experience across major Australian and international productions. Most recently, Kade appeared as Neleus in the 2022–23 Australian tour of Disney and Cameron Mackintosh’s Mary Poppins. He previously toured internationally with the CATS 40th Anniversary production, performing the role of Bill Bailey and covering Carbucketty throughout seasons in South Korea and Taiwan. Kade made his professional debut at a young age, appearing as Michael Banks in the original Australian production of Mary Poppins, before going on to play Jeremy Potts in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. His additional credits include Dancing with the Stars. A versatile performer with extensive training across dance, singing and acrobatics, Kade brings a strong physical skill set to his work, including advanced acrobatics and circus skills - with experience spanning silks, lyra, static trapeze, hammock, Spanish web and flying trapeze. With a background that has taken him from Australian stages to international touring productions and circus teaching in the United States, Kade combines extensive professional experience with a broad and distinctive range of performance skills.
