About

Kayla (She/Her), is a NIDA graduate (DMT 2023), and a versatile Australian based performer who has been performing in the industry since she was 7 (musical theatre, commercials, voice-over work, festivals/cabarets, stage management). Kayla was recently seen professionally as an ‘On-Stage Swing’ in The Addams Family with The Hayes Theatre and JRP, as ‘Ocean’ in CODA’s Ride The Cyclone, and in numerous cabarets this year. Previous credits include ‘Candy’ in Believe (MEPROD), ‘Ensemble/Cover Louise’ in Carousel (SOMS), ‘Tip/Ozma’ in Dorothy In Oz (SFF), and ‘Guest Soloist’ in NIDA’s 2024 Fundraising Gala. Through her experience, she has found herself to be an excellent choice when casting energetic teenage roles, and adult swings for child roles. Some standout community roles include ‘Little Red Riding Hood’ (Into The Woods), ‘Olive Ostrovsky’ (Spelling Bee), and ‘Gingy’ (Shrek). Also experienced in voice-acting, Kayla has voiced the role of ‘Sloane’ in STAN’s Alice-Miranda: Friends Forever. Kayla believes in the importance of truth in storytelling, and thrives off of collaborating to create unique productions and intricate, detailed characters.
