Kayla has performed several principal and featured roles, including Carrie White in Carrie: The Musical (Blackout Theatre Company), U/S Little Red Riding Hood/Lucinda in Into the Woods (PMCC), and Zaneeta in The Music Man (HMDS). She holds a Bachelor of Music (Performance) in Music Theatre from the Academy of Music and Performing Arts and has previously worked in entertainment for the Walt Disney Company at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida. Kayla also teaches singing professionally in primary schools across Western Sydney and directs Musical Theatre Junior shows with City Kids Theatre.
