About
I’m a 29-year-old Melbourne born-and-bred performer, and theatre has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I was lucky enough to grow up in an incredibly theatre-loving family, with that passion passed down from my grandparents, to my parents, and then to my sister and me. Because of that, theatre has always felt like a second home and remains one of the biggest passions in my life. Over the years, I’ve been involved in numerous productions both on and off stage, from school productions through to community theatre companies across Melbourne. I’ve had the opportunity to perform in both principal and ensemble roles, and every production has taught me something different about performing, storytelling and, most importantly, being part of a team. One of the qualities I’m most proud of is my willingness to learn. I’m constantly looking for ways to improve as a performer, whether that means undertaking vocal and dance training, researching and developing a character, taking direction or learning from an unsuccessful audition. I genuinely believe rejection is part of being a performer, and I try to use every experience as motivation to come back stronger and better prepared the next time. While I don’t come from a classically trained background, I bring a lifetime of theatrical experience, a strong work ethic and a genuine love of performing. When I commit to a production, I’m all in. From the first rehearsal to closing night, I want to understand the show, explore my character and contribute to creating something the entire cast and creative team can be proud of. What makes theatre particularly special to me is that no great show is created by one person. I love the camaraderie of a cast and the process of everyone bringing their individual strengths together to create something memorable for an audience. I aim to be someone who is humble, supportive, encouraging and enjoyable to work with while always being receptive to direction and willing to put in the work. Ultimately, what I believe makes me unique is the combination of my lifelong connection to theatre and my determination to never stop developing. I’ve grown up understanding the dedication, respect and teamwork required to put on a great production, and regardless of the size of the role, I bring the same enthusiasm and commitment. I simply love theatre, I love performing, and I’m always excited by the opportunity to challenge myself, meet new people and help bring another great show to life.
