Lou Martin

Lou Martin (They/Them) is an actor, performer, dancer and theatre maker based in Naarm/Melbourne. Their background in performing extends through training in acting, singing, dancing, and is an accomplished musician with an AMusA… Lou has just recently finished their tour with Australian Shakespeare Company’s production of Romeo and Juliet, where they played the Nurse in Australia and with Prague Shakespeare Company. While studying a Bachelor of Fine Arts Theatre at Victorian College of the Arts, some of their credits include their solo dance work ‘Josephina Ballerina’ as apart of Everything Must Go, Antigone (dir. Joe Paradise Lui) at VCA, and PHASES at Alter State Festival with Arts Centre Victoria. As an actor, they have also performed in Spring Awakening and Into The Woods with Williamstown Musical Theatre Company, and Elle Woods in Legally Blonde with CentreStage Performing Arts Academy (dir. Martin Croft). Lou’s collaborators describe them as “Passionate, hardworking, and a focused artist who is dedicated to their art and theatre performance.”
