About
Lucy May Knight (they/she) is a Burmese, queer actor based in Naarm (Melbourne). They were thrilled to close out 2025 with a Broadway Australia nomination for Best Performer in a Musical for their performance in Robin Hood with Melbourne Shakespeare Company. After relocating from Tasmania to pursue their passion for the performing arts, Lucy graduated from Federation University in 2022. They continue to develop their craft through ongoing training at 16th Street Actors Studio and Brave Studios. Some of Lucy’s favourite theatre credits include Anne Page/Robin in The Merry Wives of Windsor, the Wombat in The Wacky Wombat and Officer Curio in Twelfth Night (Melbourne Shakespeare Company); Chris in Blue to the Horizon and Hermia in A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Sevenfold Theatre), and Louise/Eve/Swing in Ruthless! (Stagebugs Productions). Alongside their acting career, Lucy is a qualified graphic designer who creates commissioned illustrations and theatre logos, poster designs and brief designs. Lucy looks forward to taking their career to the next level and push the barrier through screen and stage!
