Luisa Hickey

My name is Luisa Hickey. I am a musician, composer and performer from Melbourne, Australia. I work touring around the Australian and international folk festival circuit and regularly perform to varying crowds making me very comfortable on a stage and a versatile and adaptive performer. I grew up studying classical and celtic styles of violin and have since branched into being a multi-instrumentalist proficient in guitar, mandolin, trombone, and whistle. I have basic training in Jazz and Irish dance, and experience being on-stage, and in the orchestra pit for amateur productions. I have a huge passion for spreading the joy that music and the arts bring into the world and aim to contribute to the growing arts scene in Australia as much as I can.
