Mackenzie Vella

Mackenzie is a performer who loves to entertain. She loves spreading her knowledge whether that be to the 2-5 year old mini moves students, or the 21+ adults jazz class that she teaches! Mackenzie has had experience in performing from a young age, starting dance at 3 years old and acting at 7. She also has a love for music, with one of her hobbies being burning cds with different variations of songs and giving them as gifts to people, letting them know how music can correspond to emotion. Mackenzie was the lead in a Wakakirri performance based around Ronald Dahl. She played “Roll Doll” who was a metaphor for Matilda, and the whole performance was based around “Roll Doll” fighting away all of the monsters and eventually finding Miss Honey at the end who helped her find happiness and joy within life. This was a truly incredible experience that Mackenzie will never forget! It’s what inspired her to audition for this musical as it held a deep connection within her heart. Mackenzie is wishful in performing in the real musical one day.
