Madi Lee

Madi Lee is a Melbourne-based director and choreographer working across mainstage productions, international touring, and new musical development. Her credits span major productions and development work, including Razorhurst (Australian premiere, Hayes Theatre Co), Half Time (Hayes Theatre Co), and the Australian tour of Jekyll & Hyde, starring Anthony Warlow and Jemma Rix. She most recently directed and choreographed the Australian premiere of MILF The Musical, and has also toured internationally as a performer and resident with Hi-5. A Sydney Theatre Award nominee for Best Choreography in a Musical, Madi’s work is grounded in story-led movement, musicality, and ensemble storytelling. She brings extensive experience supporting productions from early development through to long-running seasons and remounts. After recently returning from a Queensland stint working across productions including A Chorus Line, Les Misérables, We Will Rock You, and the new Australian musical Anarchy, Madi is thrilled to be back in Melbourne collaborating with an exceptional group of Melbourne based artists. As a proud queer creative, Madi is committed to fostering inclusive, respectful rehearsal environments and championing LGBTQIA+ representation within the performing arts.
