Matilda Allan

Whether it’s releasing an original jingle on the radio at age 14, singing on Channel 10 as a soprano leader for CGen’s Musical theatre group or working with professionals like Dr Ajhriahna Henshaw and Zac Bradford (the director at the Australian studio for New York Vocal Coaching) Matilda Allan’s passion and commitment for the arts is unwavering. Her love for jazz, musical theatre, classical and country music has seen her performing at Venues around Brisbane, such as; River stage, The Brisbane Jazz club, Fortitude Valley’s El Ritmo and Woolloongabba’s “CYKAS”. Matilda’s performances are marked by compelling storytelling, emotional depth, powerhouse vocals and the ability to embody diverse characters with authenticity and flair. Currently Completing a Bachelor of Music (Jazz Voice) at the Queensland Conservatorium, Griffith University, Matilda was recognised her hard-work and resilience and was awarded “The Chancellors Scholarship”, to assist her during her studies. She then went on to achieve an Academic Excellence Award, putting her in the top 5% of students across the University. Raised in a small rural town, Matilda began learning guitar at the age of eight, later adding flute to her repertoire, and explored classical voice training in her early teens, in between riding her motorbike and feeding the cows of course. This classical foundation saw her perform across the southeast region of Queensland in professional choirs, and she has since cultivated a versatile performance profile, with training and experience in singing, dance, and acting. You will see her performing across Brisbane, Southeast Queensland, and Northern NSW—whether with her Jazz Quintet, doing pop concerts, theatrical productions, plays or dance shows. A natural performer, Matilda brings warmth, professionalism, and heart to every stage she steps onto. Matilda Allan is a performer to watch—get ready to be inspired and thoroughly entertained.
