Molly Carey

Molly grew up in a small regional town of south-west Victoria, spending every spare second at the beach. In 2026 she will complete her formal training at Federation University Australia Ballarat, with a Bachelor of Performing Arts (Music Theatre & Acting). During this time Molly has played Mother Courage in Mother Courage and Her Children (dir. Melanie Beddie), Hovstad in An Enemy of The People (dir. Angela Campbell), and Nina in a self-devised work, Love Insight (artistic dir. Kirsten von Bibra) which followed five heartbroken singles going on reality TV. For her graduating production, Molly played Sue Snell in Carrie the Musical directed by Alister Smith. She believes you should “smile till your cheeks hurt” and that theatre makes the world a better place.
