Pete Murphy

Peter Murphy is a powerhouse performer whose career spans major arena spectaculars, West End blockbusters and international concert stages. Most recently, he captivated audiences nationwide as Pilate in the acclaimed 2024–25 Australian tour of Jesus Christ Superstar. His stage credits read like a greatest-hits playlist: national tours of Les Misérables, Rent and Shout!, starring roles as Nick Piazza in Fame, Johnny in Shout!, and Jesus in the Scandinavian tour of Jesus Christ Superstar. He has thrilled crowds as a featured vocalist in Thriller – Live (UK, Australian & European Tours) and Burn the Floor (Atlantic City), and starred as Galileo in We Will Rock You in London’s West End — performing alongside Queen legends Brian May and Roger Taylor, after two seasons in Japan in the same role. Offstage, Peter is just as dynamic. He has served as Show Director at Resorts World Sentosa, 2IC for the Production Team of Festival 2018, Head of Entertainment Services at Jupiters Hotel & Casino, and Assistant Festival Manager for Short + Sweet. As Creative Director of Monumental Entertainment, he now writes, directs and delivers high-impact entertainment experiences for major events across Australia and internationally.
