Rebekah Head

Rebekah is an actor, singer, puppeteer and theatre maker who grew up in Waitākere. She is a graduate of the National Academy of Singing and Dramatic Art (BPA). Musical theatre highlights include playing Glinda in Wicked (Showbiz Christchurch, IMT, NPOS) Miss. Honey in Matilda (NSMT/Encore/G&T) and Sally Brown in You’re A Good Man Charlie Brown (Harlequin Musical Theatre). Other theatre highlights include Beauty and the Beast - The Pantomime (GMG Productions); Shrek the Musical (Showcase Entertainment); Sense and Sensibility (Court Theatre); Toys (Little Andromeda); Peter and the Wolf (SILO Theatre/Singapore International Festival of Arts); Disney’s Winnie the Pooh: The New Musical Stage Adaptation (Rockefeller/TEG Life Like Touring) and most recently playing Cakey and Baby Box in the Australian tour of Gabby’s Dollhouse Live! (TEG Life Like Touring). Rebekah has been a puppeteer in music videos for Fat Freddy’s Drop and Jason Parker as well as puppeteering live for Coldplay on the New Zealand leg of their Music of the Spheres tour.
 Screen credits include Sweet Tooth (Pilot), Custard's World (Whoa! Productions) Jono and Ben (MediaWorks), Brain Busters, What Now (Whitebait Media) Happiness (Greenstone TV) and most recently Mr. Hugos Little Library (Little Library Productions).
