About

Rosie has been performing in theatre since the age of three, beginning her training with Razzmatazz Theatre School in the United Kingdom before moving to Australia. Since then, she has continued to develop her skills through extensive theatre, dance and performing arts training, including Geelong Academy of Performing Arts and CPAA Academy. A versatile performer with a strong background in physical performance, Rosie has appeared in a variety of productions, including Matilda, Carrie, Pippin, Beauty and the Beast and The Addams Family. Her recent work has allowed her to combine her love of theatre with her extensive acrobatic abilities, performing tumbling, stunts and character work on stage. In The Addams Family, she performed as an Acrobat/Ancestor and stunt performer for Wednesday, while in Beauty and the Beast she was part of the ensemble, performing as the Tumbling Rug, a Wolf and a Villager. Standing at 5 feet tall, Rosie has also gained valuable experience swinging for child roles, including swinging for the role of Chip in Beauty and the Beast. This has given her experience working flexibly within an ensemble and adapting to different performance requirements. Alongside this, Rosie's height and physical presentation has provided her with the opportunity for childrens/tween clothing modelling. Additionally, Rosie has joined productions such as Pippin with less than a week before opening night, learning three performers tracks who could not perform due to illness, throughout the show dates. Alongside her theatre training, Rosie has a highly competitive background in gymnastics and cheerleading. She trained through the YMCA Competitive Gymnastics Program up to Level 10 and has extensive acrobatic experience, including front and side aerials, back handsprings, layouts, back tucks, walkovers, jumps and connected tumbling skills. She has also competed in Allstar Cheerleading as a flyer, with experience in twisting and being tossed. She is passionate about combining her skills in performance and physical movement and is particularly interested in developing further stunt experience within theatre. Her goal is to continue growing as a versatile performer while bringing her gymnastics, cheerleading and acrobatic background into theatrical performance. Rosie is currently continuing her vocal development through singing lessons with Kate Dayley and works with children in acrobatics and performing arts, sharing her passion and experience with the next generation of performers, hoping to one day debut in a professional theatre production herself.
