Ruby Baird

Ruby Baird (she/her) is a music theatre performer and emerging producer who recently completed a Bachelor of Music (Music Theatre) with First Class Honours at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music (2025). Prior to this, she studied screen acting at Screenwise Film & TV School, developing a passion for performance across both stage and screen. Her recent performance credits include; ‘Announcer’ in the development workshop of Phar Lap at Hayes Theatre Co., ‘Mrs Anderssen’ in A Little Night Music at Hayes Theatre Co., and the ‘Baker’s Wife’ in Into the Woods at Footbridge Theatre. Alongside her performing career, Ruby works as a producer. In 2026, she co-founded Wherenext Theatre Company, an independent production company dedicated to championing emerging artists and creating theatre in unconventional spaces. The company’s inaugural production, The Theory of Relativity, premiered in August 2026 at the Coal Loader in Waverton.
