Ruby Buchanan

I’m a Melbourne-based musical theatre performer currently living in Perth while completing my Diploma of Musical Theatre at WAAPA. I have a strong passion for storytelling and love bringing characters to life through singing, acting and dance. I have performed in a range of productions, including Legally Blonde and Mamma Mia!, and most recently played Finch in How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying in a gender-blind casting at WAAPA. I would describe myself as a soulful singer with strong movement skills, comedic timing and a love for exploring different characters and styles. I’m excited to continue growing as a performer, challenge myself creatively and pursue opportunities within the Australian musical theatre industry.
